From our President

By , November 16, 2017

I am so energized coming out of our 300th anniversary celebration. The entire experience came together perfectly. Thank you to all of the folks working behind the scenes to make it a success. It felt good to be rubbing elbows with so many wonderful people in our congregation and local community.

I am now going to bring the Parish Committee and Committee chairs together for our annual leadership retreat on December 2nd. It is important to me that we create a shared vision for growth. I am excited to meet with the leadership at this moment in our history to set the stage for our future.

The work of the Parish Committee recently includes increasing the budget item for the Minister’s Discretionary Fund by $250. And, did you notice that the bell can now be rung on Sunday mornings again? We have also hired a building maintenance assistant instead of a full sextant, but we feel that this will meet our immediate need for support around our facility.
