On the last Saturday of every month, we will be venturing into the UU Urban Ministry in Roxbury for Fair Foods, a project that takes recently expired, but still perfectly good, produce from grocery stores and distributes it to families in need of food. We will meet at 9:50 AM on Saturday, June 24th in the FPUU Canton parking lot for bagels and coffee, before caravanning into Roxbury together. Bring the kids, for there are jobs for adults and children alike, from moving crates of potatoes, to sorting kale, to filling up bags with bananas. The project goes until 1:00 PM, but you can stay for as long as works for you. Hope you can join us!
