On this Mother’s Day, Rev. Michelle will share stories from her time in urban ministry and the strength and resiliency of the mothers she knew in the context of her nearly 18 years of ministry in Boston. We will recognize both our Faith in Action partner this month, the UU Urban Ministry, in this sharing as well as the Mother’s Day Walk for Peace occurring in Boston this morning with the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute (our Faith in Action partner last month). Today let’s honor “mothers” in the traditional sense while also recognizing our “mothers” of choice and all the nurturers in our lives.
